The tonearm swivels on two radial ball bearings seated in a sold brass block. The fulcrum is a brass sleeve that fits between the brass plates and rotates on a threaded rod capped with acorn nuts. Adjustments: The leads can be pulled thru the plastic sleeve as needed; the arm can be raised or lowered for the correct tracking angle (a 3/8" spacer block is provided for added height if needed); the counterweight slides back and forth for the proper tracking force; the brass plates on the swivel assembly can be moved up or down for azimuth adjustment. The anti-skate device (which you may not need) is a monofilament with one or two BB-size weights.

Changing cartridges is easy using the plastic cartrigge platform. Once mounted to the platform the cartridge is attached to the arm using the single plastic screw.
